We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Urban Sports LA (USLA) who will be co-hosting TechJam 2014.  USLA is a 700-member strong Co-Ed social sports league organization for LA urban professionals. Several of this year's participants (Honest Co, Riot Games, Scopely) have participated in several of their sports leagues (Kickball, Flag Football, Volleyball) this past year.

USLA differentiates itself by focusing on a unique individual experience that extends from the field to its social outings, and a strong emphasis on philanthropy. Every season, USLA donates at minimum 15% of its profits and hosts a volunteer event at the end of each season with Special Olympics Southern CA.  Working with USLA, we hope to elevate the fun of TechJam while giving back to the community.

Through the help of USLA, TechJam 2014 is proud to announce our new involvement with Special Olympics Southern CA. Special Olympics Southern California is a nonprofit organization that empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. All remaining proceeds from TechJam LA after covering for court rental, staffing and logistics will be donated to Special Olympics Southern California. For more information on Special Olympics Southern CA, please visit www.sosc.org.

USLA is currently open for registration in its Co-Ed Kickball, Flag Football and Cornhole league which begins February 2014. For more information, check out www.urbansportsLA.com or email info@urbansportsla.com
